Review of the Boston Museum of Science

The Boston museum of science, Massachusetts is one of the leading science museums in the world. It is host to over five hundred interactive exhibits, as well as the home to over one hundred animals. Most of the animals living in the Museum of Science were rescues from dangerous situations. This makes the Museum of Science unique, as it is a museum as well as a member of the Association of Zoos and Aquariums.

Established in 1830, the Boston museum of science has a rich history of providing some of the greatest pieces of modern and past technologies. In the 1950s, it was host to a cloud chamber, which permitted visitors to come within inches of radioactive material. In addition to this, it hosted the Lord of the Rings motion picture trilogy exhibition, and was selected to host the Harry Potter movie exhibit. The Museum of Science has also hosted Body Worlds 2.

There are many different departments in the Museum of Science, ranging from electricity generation to computer sciences. When you visit the museum, it is part interactive show and part learning experience. While the exhibits can be visited in one day, there is so much to see and do that several visits are often not enough to completely view the museum. With the influx of traveling exhibitions, there is typically a new reason to visit the Museum of Science.

The Boston museum of science is a frequent target of school groups and universities. As the Museum hosts so many different sciences, it provides an excellent foundation for many of the sciences that are currently in use around the planet. With exhibits for all ages, it is also suitable for young children.

If you are planning on visiting the Museum of Science, there are several things that you will want to keep in mind. First, the museum contains many valuable items. When you visit, you are expected to keep your distance from the blocked off exhibits. While there are many interactive pieces, the museum security protects the exhibits that are not interactive.

The Museum of Science is currently home to active experimentation. Wind Turbine testing is done on the roof of the museum, while scientists are also available for planned experiments that children can participate in.

The Museum of Science is located in West Boston near the Science Park, West End Station of the public transit system.
