Container gardening mainly developed due to the need to gardening in windows and kitchen garden. Lack of space in homes today and developed the need of container gardening. Constraints of space in the indoors has given rise to new ideas of growing plants, in and around homes.

There is actually no difference of growing plants in containers, and the garden, except for the fact that in the garden, plants are grown on the ground and in the container gardening, the plants are grown in specially designed pots for plantation. One of the benefits of this type of gardening is that you can plant pots throughout the year. No limitations of months are there on you for growing specific plants.

Add plants to the already existing garden:

All you have to do is go to the nursery and select plants of your choice. Plants from the nursery can be purchased in flower or bud mode, or the full lead mode. Saplings available in nurseries are grown mainly in tin containers or from bituminized paper of polythene paper.

With careful consideration you can easily transplant the saplings into the containers. One can integrate different saplings in the garden by adding more plants to the already existing ones. Care should be taken about the rooting system, so that the roots do not get damaged. It is suggested that the sapling should be carefully taken out of the container, along with lots of mud attached to it, so that the rooting system does not get damaged. Saplings planted in this fashion recover in the new container quickly.

Shift the garden outdoors as and when required:

To develop a good rooting system in the new container, ensure that the saplings are not disturbed much in the transplantation process. It is also important to retain enough moisture inside the pot constantly. For those who don't know much about gardening, they can also take the services of a number of service providers who specifically deal with requirements in the garden.

After planting the samplings you will require manure and pesticides for the proper growth of the saplings. Special moisture retaining gels are also available to retain moisture in the container. One of the biggest benefits of container gardening is that you can shift these containers indoor and outdoors as per your requirement. Decorum of the house can be changed whenever required. On special occasions, you can decorate the interiors of your home with beautiful flowering plants, which add beauty to the occasion.
