Cosmetic Surgery or A Short Daily Exercise Routine - Which One Should You Choose to Get Rid of Double Chin Fat?

Two opposing camps exist on the face rejuvenation front. One camp wants to encourage you to spend large amounts of money to 'fix your face.' These are the cosmetic surgeons, and liposuction centers, some with easy walk-in, walk-out services. They offer instant gratification. After a short period of healing (depending on the procedure performed) you're new chin, nose, skin will be revealed to the world. But quick isn't cheap, and you may not want to take that route, especially if the expense is hard to justify. What other options are there?

We've all heard it takes as more muscles to frown than it does to smile, but when you look in the mirror and see a sagging lackluster face, it doesn't seem like there are fewer muscles needed to smile. So, what can you do if you want your face to shape up? Plenty of so-called experts will advise this product or that product - but can putting something onto your face really make any difference?

Basically, setting aside the magic cream solution, there are only two primary ways to change your face. Drastic and direct manipulation of the skin, muscles, and fat through surgical procedures and the more natural methods of facial exercises and healthier living. While the former may appeal to those who aren't interested in healthier living or to those who ample funds to throw around, you may be somewhere in the middle and not sure which direction to take.

And even with the fast, almost instant changes that surgery can effect, provided you can afford it to begin with, we've all heard of the things that can go wrong with the surgical approach. The supermarket tabloids like to feature the horrible results that even celebrities have sometimes endured from the surgeons knife. And even if surgeries go well - they only last so long and the perpetual chase, almost addiction that some people develop to surgery, can often result faces and bodies that look less than human and certainly not natural.

We've all seen people with amazing results from cosmetic surgery. Chances are the ones with the best results paid top dollar for the work they had done. Most likely, their doctors wouldn't even walk into a surgery for less than $10K. However, if you're not able to spend that lavishly, you may be forced to select from more average doctors.

To combat this, something too good to be true has risen. It involves minutes of exercise, (if it can be called that) a day and results that you control. The only investment you make is your own time. Welcome to the ring, the most natural way to rebuild your profile and jaw line, facial exercises!

Facial exercises have been around for a long time. They have been in the form of yoga and people have been doing it since sleeping became an integral part of our life somewhere down the line of evolution. When you yawn, you stretch your face. When you laugh, you stretch your face. Every little thing you do, every little twitch changes the shape of your face. So how do you change it to look how you want it to look?

There are a handful of books and programs on the market that teach various strategies for facial transformation through facial exercising. Some involve additional products, (lotions, creams, vitamins, etc) and others have expansive training modules with video, diet and exercise recommendations, and some even have support groups or ongoing coaching. The bottom line is that any of their strategies - once learned - can be done for no additional expense and in any location, even while driving or sitting in front of your computer.

In the end, we are humans and we will do what we want. If you can afford it, you may opt for the faster and potentially more dangerous approach of surgery. If you have discipline and like to save money and keep things healthy and natural, you may choose to become a face-fitness convert. And when your hair stylists gets to work on you, he'll know, which method you chose because you will either have scars behind your ears - or you wont.
