Do You Know Why You Are Growing Overweight By Each Passing Day?

"Your tummy looks big"," Hey you have got beer belly", how many times you have heard this from family and friends. It could be countless. Your big stomach is such a problem in your life. Repeatedly, it has caused harassment to you. Now let us look at the reason that why we have a big stomach in detail:

Having a Big Meal at one go: Food habit plays a major role, when it comes to your big stomach. The quantum and quality of food intake determines whether you are going to have a normal stomach or a big one. If you have the habit of taking large quantum of food at one go, then chances are that you are consuming lot of calories. Thus, body is not able to process the same that in turn leads to belly fat.

Living on Fast Food: In today's busy life, everybody wants quick results and therefore do not get much of time to prepare food by themselves. Therefore, they go for fast food such as noodles, Pizza, chips and other stuff. The fact of the matter is that they have tons of calories, which is not conducive for your body. On an average, a typical American needs between 1500-2000 calories intake a day. However, if you have these, during the day, you have already added tons of calories in addition to the calories from your normal foods. At the same time equivalent calories is not disposed from your body.

Our Life Style: Are you working in office, beside your computer or a laptop. Then this could explain why you have a big belly. Here, what happens, you stick to your working desk as glue, and you do not bother to take walk or indulge in physical movements. This habit slows your metabolism process, which means your system is not burning calories, effectively. There, you have the reason for big stomach.

Food in Late Night: In today hectic schedule, it is common to have food late night. Also at the same time, we go to sleep, without any gap. Ideally, we should have fours of gap between our dinner and sleep. This is required, so that our digestive system processes and breaks down the food. Now what happens is that when we sleep, with the dinner just before it, then you force your body to two activities. First, one is to process the food and second perform other body repairing activities. Just Imagine, the kind of stress you are putting on your body. In the Final analysis, body is not able to digest the food optimally and thus leads to excess accumulation of fat and thus your big stomach. It is a vicious cycle.

Alcohol and Beer Belly: Believe me or not, alcohol and beer belly have very close relation. Some research has shown that, excess intake of alcohol, increases the appetite, which in turn, you guessed it right, is responsible for your big stomach. It is a myth that alcohol is liquid; however, it contains empty calories.
