Dispell the Myth of Beauty Products Being Expensive

By Janet Conant

As we age, we all wished to feel more youthful and young again and our only solution is with beauty products. You might think that they are expensive but they really aren't if you know where to go.

Beauty products usually don't have sales but when department stores or pharmacies go on a storewide sale, these aids are always included for you to take advantage.

Large grocery chains carry a selection of health and beauty aids that are sometimes less expensive than at the local pharmacy.

Less manpower means more savings. The online stores have much less overhead so you can shop there with the confidence that you will be saving lots.

Costco really has great prices even though they may not sell the brand you are used to using. If you look and it's for sale, you probably don't need to research further to see which store has better prices.

If you belong to a co-op or shopping club, you will find that they provide quality products at a reduced price, especially if you buy in bulk.

Sometimes, you will see an alternative from a deep discount store that's super cheap. Remember to research it because it could really be inferior.

Everyday products can be used as an alternative to many ultra high cost beauty products. For example, you can use mineral oil in your bath. To add a scent, you can even squeeze a lemon.

Coupons and sales work well here too. They may not show up often but the savings and discounts are usually pretty big when it happens.

If you buy a bigger bottle. Always transfer it to a small bottle before use because the opening on the huge container is big and you will end up using much more than needed.
