What Makes A Good Body Butter?

There are always reminders of how we should pay close attention to our health. It is reminded to us every time we watch TV, read magazines and on the roads with all the billboard ads and all. The ads always include what are we supposed to eat, how we should exercise regularly and the vitamins that we should take everyday. During our shopping we even check the package of some food products that we intend to buy.

We are always conscious of what we eat we tend to stay away to products that contains chemicals and preservatives since they will only harm the body. However do you consider taking a time to read the label of the products that you apply on your skin? I bet probably not. We never bother ourselves knowing the ingredients of the body lotion that we always use on our skin.

High quality body lotion should have natural butters such as kokum butter, shea butter, and cocoa butter. These are wonderful butters that you need to see on the package of your body lotion or butters.

kokum butter is extracted from garcinia tree. It can help regenerate skin cells that are worn out. It also helps the skin wall to be elastic and flexible.

You can get shea butter from the vegetable fat of the Karite tree. If you want to have natural, healthy skin, shea butter can do that for you. It is resistant to water and makes your skin cells breathe even if you applied them all over our body. This is the reason why this is made as base for cosmetics.

Cocoa butter is from the roasted seeds of cacao tree. This is very rich in Vitamin E which we all know as good for the skin. It also has natural antioxidants. They usually used as a substance for aromatherapy massage because they help a person feel relaxed and calm.

We should not only be conscious of what we eat, we should also be aware of what we use in on body. Next time you buy skin care product makes sure that they have ingredients there that says natural, organic or handcrafted. Skin is very important since they are the largest organ of our body. Always remember to use only the organic and natural way whether in foods or in body care.
