It seems today that everyone is wrestling with the notion of having an ideal body. We can all blame advertisers for this but it's we who adhere to the notion ourselves. Anyway even the models whether it be Naomi Campbell or Kate Moss usually undergo some sort of digital surgery before appearing in print.

Thee injustice of it all. If you tend to struggle with excess fat on your body images like these is all you need to see. For anyone prone to this they may carry a little extra fat on the face, conversely you can also have a thin body, and a fat face. This can affect the sufferer emotionally as the face is the area we are most drawn to when we speak to someone. The face gives out so much communication, and anyone with a little extra facial fat may feel uncomfortable with this.

Losing facial fat is not always an easy process. For many people sadly this tends to be the very first place they gain weight and it's usually the last place for it to leave when they lose weight. It's no surprise people are looking to all areas for advice on how to lose facial fat. So this brings us on to the burning (or not so burning) question, Will face exercise help you to lose facial fat?

Well let's see how they are supposed to work. Isolation exercises are supposed to be performed to stress the individual areas of your face. They receive a lot of praise from people of all shapes and forms. Please be aware that these exercises do not burn any fat. Think about it this way- when performing weights you build up muscle or tone areas of the body, you do not actually burn any fat like this.

The same is true if you want a flat stomach. Exercising all day won't burn any fat. And you won't see your new washboard abs if your stomach is covered in fat. You will eventually be able to see them if you lose overall weight, and this is the same with losing facial fat. The best thing to do is keep up the toning exercises and at the same time try to reduce your body mass overall. Stick with it and you will see that you can lose facial fat, with a sensible diet and with targeted exercises.
