The latest hit crave diet in the US is the Weigh Down Diet. Now it is slowly making its way into UK homes. The basic principle is that it wants you to start following Jesus instead of making food the controlling factor in your life.
On first impressions this can be quite confusing. How is Jesus going to make me thin? How can this succeed where all else has failed? These are just a couple of questions that ran through my mind when I first came across this diet. But on deeper inspection I realized that the diet does not boast that it can shift however many pounds in however many days, it testimonial is saying that it can help you with the root of your problem.
Comfort eating has been a problem for years and years and could possible be the main reason why many overweight people just can not lose any fat. They try and try with any diet they come across, but end up in a more depressive hole than when they started when they do not see any quick fix results. Then the eating will start and the cycle starts again.
A person could be comfort eating for any personal reason, maybe they have just come out of a relationship, or a pet has just died. The fact is, everyone goes through times in there life where a hurt and needy heart wants to be feed, but using food to cure this is just the wrong thing to do.
